This will cause you to jump off of any wall that is close enough. If you have learned the 'Wall Jump' skill, pressing the 'Jump' key down while you are airborne will perform a wall jump test. You can only catch ledges that are less than a 30 degree slope to the vertical, any steeper and you will not be able to catch (there are exceptions to this, but those are hard to explain) If you are currently moving downwards, the climber will only catch the ledge If you are currently moving upwards when you catch a ledge, the climber will try to climb up onto the ledge (if it can't climb up, you will still catch the ledge) If you are standing on the ground, nothing is happening, you must be airborne for the climber to grab anything If you press the 'Jump' key (default is 'Spacebar'/R1/RB) while moving towards a short obstacle, you will vault over it (you won't vault if you are standing still) There are definitely a few bugs in the climbing system, but I think the main issue is a lack of understanding for the climbing mechanics since we haven't made a proper climbing tutorial yet. Zombie Apocalypse: All the materials for the game so far essentially present a small medieval-era island completely taken over by the "possessed", who are all reduced to a state pretty much equivalent to that of a zombie. As requested, here's my notes on climbing. You All Look Familiar: The price of a small developer creating massive hordes is that there are only a couple of male and female possessed models, at least in the pre-alpha footage.Sprint Meter: Pre-alpha footage shows a pretty traditional green bar in between the health and mana ones, which is consumed through running or swinging your weapon.Spin Attack: The player performs a full spin with their melee weapon in the pre-alpha footage, which deals plenty of damage to all enemies around them, and also somehow generates flames. The footage even ends with the demon using this attack a second time to outright knock the player from the tower roof they were on. Shockwave Stomp: The fire demon seen at the end of the pre-alpha can generate a ring of flame around itself, which also knocks the player back a fair amount. They also lose that battle, with the demon able to use its magic to throw the player from the roof.
